City: Crews moving sand near Blind Pass

The city of Sanibel reported that Public Works crews are moving sand today, Nov. 8, near Blind Pass and Pine Avenue. As a result, Sanibel-Captiva Road may be intermittently reduced to one lane in the area. Crews will be flagging traffic. The work is expected to be completed by noon.

SCCF trails remain closed post-storms

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation reported on Oct. 30 that all of its public trails remain closed due to downed trees and other debris from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. It will notify the public when they reopen.
