Sanctuary's Bradley wins silver at FL senior games

Christie Bradley, director of Tennis and Fitness at The Sanctuary Golf Club, competed in the Florida International Senior Games and State Championships winning a Silver Medal in volleyball. Playing at Estero Community Park, Christie was part of six-person team from Florida, Maryland, and New York.
“I took up volleyball in the early 90’s when I stopped professional tennis tournaments. I was living in Maryland and competed for the Chesapeake Division of the USA Volleyball Association. When I am not playing indoors as part of a team, I like two-man volleyball on sand and grass. I passed the love of volleyball to my daughter, Hayley, who is playing club volleyball for USA South. I am so proud of her,” said Christie. “Volleyball and tennis are very similar in moves and defense, I love to play both sports. I also feel very fortunate to be able to coach both sports at The Sanibel School to future generations.”
