Sanibel Recreation Members of the Month: Scott and Lori McDonald
The City of Sanibel Recreation Department would like to recognize the Members of the Month Scott and Lori McDonald.
Scott and Lori McDonald moved to Sanibel Island from Kansas City, Mo., a year and a half ago. Shortly after moving to the island they became members of the Sanibel Recreation Center because they had heard it was a wonderful facility with tennis courts. As members, the McDonalds have been sure to include playing singles tennis into their daily routine which helps to keep them physically fit. When asked their comments about the recreation center they responded, “We are so grateful that Sanibel has such a remarkable state-of-the-art facility. The tennis courts and the staff are our favorite!”
Scott is the director of Music at St. Isabel Catholic Church on Sanibel and plays piano at Il Cielo Restaurant as well as other local events. He is also the former pianist for Andy Williams. Lori is a writer and a musician.
