Lily & Co. Jewelers, for the second year, is proud to sponsor the 11th annual Hope Hospice Tennis Challenge to be held Nov. 9-10 at the Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island.

The event has raised more than $95,000 throughout the years for Hope Hospice, a non-profit organization that cares for more than 2,000 individuals of all ages and at every stage of serious illness and their families every day.

“We are honored to be a part of this event, which supports such a great organization,” said Dan Schuyler and Karen Bell, owners of Lily & Co. “It will be a fun weekend of tennis, too.”

There will be amazing raffle items donated by Lily & Co., such as a 14-karat white diamond gold tennis racket pendant adorned by more than 25 diamonds on an 18-inch chain, a value of $1,150; a limited edition ladies watch from the Michele Garden Party Collection, sparkling with more than 60 diamonds and a sapphire crystal, valued at $1,650. There will also be an Italian hand-blown star fish carafe complimented by six matching high-ball glasses, all valued at $700, up for raffle.

The tennis challenge will consist of men’s and women’s doubles 3.0 to 4.5, bracketed single elimination with consolation rounds. “That means a guaranteed two matches no matter how bad a day your partner is having,” said Christie Bradley, director of tennis and fitness at The Sanctuary Golf Club. Holly McIntosh and Kerry Kendrick will enter for team Lily.

Bracket winners and finalists, as well as consolation winners, will receive awards designed by Sanibel glass artist Lucas Century. All players will receive a complimentary Lily & Co. Nike tennis visor.

“We invite everyone to come out for a great weekend of tennis, to cheer on team Lily, and the chance to win a fabulous raffle prize, all while supporting Hope Hospice,” said Schuyler.
