Lions Club Annual Charity Golf Tourney
The Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club will hold their 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Beachview Golf Club on Sunday, January 15th, 2011 starting at 8:30 am. Golfers are asked to register now.
The format is a four person, best ball, team handicap tournament. If you have an established handicap for 18 holes, please include. If you do not, estimate what you shoot for 18 holes. The maximum handicap per person will be 36. Team numbers will be assigned. If you do not have a foursome, they will attempt to add golfers to your team.
The cost per golfer is $100 which includes green fees and lunch at the new Bistro at Beachview. If your team is a Gold Sponsor, then your golf and lunch are included.
First and Second place prizes are a set of clubs and golf clothing: a hole in one on a specified par 3 will earn you $5,000. Mulligans are available. All money raised at the event goes toward Lions charitable causes, such as preventing blindness, educational scholarships and helping people in need.
