Barrier Island Paddle to be held Friday
Lee County Parks & Recreation invites visitors and residents to explore nature at beaches and shorelines at the next Barrier Island Paddle, scheduled to be held this Friday, Oct. 14.
Join us for a leisurely paddle from the Causeway Islands Park to Fisherman Key, Kitchel Key and Picnic Island. We will explore the wildlife and beautiful scenery that this area has to offer. If you have a canine companion they are welcome to come along.
Trip meets on the north side of Island A at 9 a.m. and returns around 11 a.m. The fee for this trip is $40 per person and includes all the necessary gear. Canines must be well mannered and have current vaccinations. The maximum weight for the pooches is 100 pounds, and no more than one per boat please.
