Fun Days coming to the Sanibel Rec Center
This Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12 mark the first two days that school will officially be out for island youngsters. Have you made your child care arrangements yet?
The Sanibel Recreation Center is now providing youth in grades kindergarten through eighth the opportunity to participate in structured, fun activities during non-school weekdays. These Fun Days will operate from 8 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Daily activities include arts and crafts, athletics, group games and other counselor-led activities.
Fun Days are $20 per child for members and $25 per child for non-members. Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit and towel. Each child will need to bring his or her own lunch. Please register in advance at the Sanibel Recreation Center, located at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road. Daily, weekly, semi-annual and annual memberships are available.
