Ziegler to address Sanibel Island Fishing Club
This Tuesday, May 12, the Sanibel Island Fishing Club will be holding its monthly meeting. The meeting will began at 6:30 p.m. in the north room of the Sanibel Island Community Center, located at 2173 Periwinkle Way. The guest speaker will began his presentation at 7 p.m. sharp. There is no admission charge for the event and the angling public is cordially invited to attend.
This months featured speaker is local author and fly fishing expert Norm Ziegler. He will speak on how to take the beach snook on a fly as well as discussing the opening of his new tackle shop, Norm Ziegler’s Fly Shop, which is located in 2242 Periwinkle Way, just a few steps west of The Bean.
A distinguished author as well, Ziegler will be bringing copies of his two recent releases, “Rivers of Shadow, Rivers of Light” and “How To Catch Snook On A Fly.”

The Sanibel Island Fishing Club meets monthly through season and sponsors several group outings as well as lending support for various fishing related charities and organizations such as SCCF, START, PURRE and the Sanibel Sea School.
