Fort Myers Derby Girls start season this Sunday
On Sunday, April 26, the Fort Myers Derby Girls will begin their 2009 campaign with an intra-league bout between the Twisted Sisters and the Brownie Bruisers.
Tailgating begins at 6:30 p.m. and the game starts at 7 p.m. at Generations Skating Center, located at 2095 Andrea Lane in Fort Myers (just off U.S. 41 north of Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.)
Tickets are $7 in advance or $9 at the door. Kids 5 and under are admitted free. Here on Sanibel, tickets are available at Needful Things in Tahitian Gardens.
