Sanibel Softball League: Battle of the Baggers
Last week’s Game of the Week was Bailey’s Baggers vs. The Dirtbaggers in a ‘Battle of the Bags.’ Who’s bags would prove to be bigger?
Bailey’s came out swinging hard, taking a 10-0 lead. The Dirtbaggers considerably narrowed the gap with a strong third inning, scoring six runs. But they couldn’t keep up and Bailey’s left them in the dust.
In the end, Bailey’s shoplifted the victory over the Dirtbaggers, 26-10.
In the other softball games, Doc Ford’s shattered All Island Glass, 24-0. The Great White Grill cooked another victim, The Dunes, in a 23-6 win and Sanctuary Island Electric sent a thousand volts down Biddle’s Bucket to win 18-5.
Next week’s upcoming games on Wednesday will Biddle’s Bucket at The Dirtbaggers and Doc Ford’s at Bailey’s. Thursday’s games will be The Great White Grill vs. the Sundial and The Dunes at Sanctuary Electric.
