Do more than talk — act

To the editor:

I totally agree with the most recent letter by Sally J. Cooper (published in the Aug. 1, 2018, issue of the Island Reporter)! Her comments are spot on.

I do the same; I protest, send in donations and have written several letters to federal and state representatives. And I sure hope that all these people who are posting and making comments on social media, Facebook, et cetera are doing the same.

Also, a special thanks to the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation for keeping us informed and focused.
