To the editor,

What an outpouring of friendship and support you all gave me in my campaign for a City Council seat!

Whatever the result on Tuesday, I want to express my deepest appreciation to Val Babb (manager), Bill Carr (treasurer) and to all those who worked so hard on my committee. I thank the many hosts and guests at neighborhood gatherings where issues were debated with intense interest and goodwill. I was privileged to experience firsthand the community spirit which is uniquely Sanibel.

Thank you, donors and supporters. Thank you, all.
