Ask self what the cost of doing nothing would be
To the editor:
I find it astonishing that 19 days into the conflict with Iran that former U.S. Ambassador Peter Galbraith has concluded “that things have not turned out as the U.S. government planned.” I am at least glad when asked what he would do as president he admits he has no answer, only that “he is better at saying what we should not do.”
For someone who has been out of government for over 10 years he sure seems to proclaim a lot of knowledge on Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear capabilities. I can only imagine what kind of problems the world would have if we waited around until a country that chants “death to America” acquired a ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead.
For 45 years Iran has been killing Americans and spreading terror around the globe, perhaps Mr. Galbraith should ask himself what the cost of doing nothing would be.
