Judith A Meyers
Judy passed somewhat suddenly, leaving a hole in the heart of many. Her presence filled the lives of all who knew her with laughter, warmth and love.
A devoted wife of 69 years to her one true love, Ron Meyers, Sr. Judy is survived by Ron Sr. and her four children, Ron Jr. (Suzette), Kevin (Jeanine), Robyn and Kelly (Perry). Judy and Ron were long time residents of Sanibel, touching the lives of many as owners of the iconic Dairy Queen of Sanibel. After hurricane Ian, they moved to Bluffton, SC to be closer to their extended family.
Judy was multi-talented, known as a tough ‘A-player’ in the tennis world, an incredible entertainer, chef and card shark at home and a ‘Feng-shui’ interior designer. Judy quietly helped many as a sort of ‘life-coach’, she had a way of drawing out the strengths of others and helping them to finally own it for themselves! Everything seemed to come easily to Judy, yet she was not focused on herself; she lived to care for her husband Ron and spend time with their family.
Without question, Judy will be missed. Her legacy of creativity, passion, resilience and fierce love of family will be forever on our hearts. She will be seen daily in the beauty of Sanibel’s shell filled beaches, heard in the song of her beloved birds and felt through the unconditional love of all who knew her.
We know her vibrant spirit and dynamic energy is at peace and in God’s loving arms.
