Frizzell memorial service at Historical Village
A memorial service and celebration of life for Dr. James Frizzell will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, on the grounds of the Sanibel Historical Village. Frizzell was on the museum’s board since August 2012. Prior to his election to the board, he and his wife Janet were volunteers at the museum. Frizzell died at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers on Dec. 15, 2013.
Frizzell and his wife Janet have owned a home on Sanibel since 1997 and became full-time residents of Sanibel in 2010. They own three local businesses: Huxter’s Market and Deli, Huxter’s Liquors, and Sanibel Spirits.
The family has requested that donations in Jim’s memory be made to the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village, 950 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, FL 33957 or Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
