Nicola Tirelli
Nicola Tirelli, 78, of Fort Myers died on Feb. 22, 2009.
Born in 1930, Nick grew up in New York. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He moved to Florida in 1975 and worked in hotel management for several years before retiring from the City of Sanibel.
Nick was preceded in death by two wives, Betty and Joan, and also his daughter, Sandy. Nick is survived by two step-daughters, Terry Jo (Davin) Tinquist and Audria (Johnnie) Fisher; step-son Nelson (Shannon) Vixler, son-in-law Andy (Donna) Tilton; granddaughters Lauri Brown, Angela Tilton, Pam (Scott) Theus, Afton Tinquist, Johanna Fischer and Audria Fischer along with grandsons Mark Mackay, Jeremey Tinquist, Johnathan Fischer and Riley Fischer; along with several great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Nick’s family will received friends at the Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home in Fort Myers on Feb. 27 and a Celebration of His Life was conducted on Feb. 28 at Faith Assembly of God Church Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers. Condolences may be made at www.harvey-engelhardt-metz.com.
