Collings Foundation’s Wings of Freedom Tour at Page Field in Fort Myers Monday-Thursday
The Collings Foundation’s Wings of Freedom Tour, featuring vintage World War II aircraft such as the B-17 Flying Fortress “Nine O Nine,” the B-24 Liberator “Witchcraft” and the P-51 Mustang “Toulouse Nuts” fighter, will be on display at Page Field Airport next week at the main ramp, 5200 Channing Page Drive, Fort Myers.
The tour will arrive at the airport at noon Monday, Jan. 28, and continue until noon Thursday, Jan. 31.
WHEN: The WINGS OF FREEDOM TOUR will arrive at the Page Field Airport at 12:00 PM on Monday, January Hours of ground tours and display are noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9 a.m to noon Thursday.
Visitors are invited to explore the aircraft inside and out – $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12 is requested for access to up-close viewing and tours through the inside of the aircraft. There are discounted rates for school groups. Visitors may also experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to actually take a 30-minute flight aboard these rare aircraft.
