City: Aqualinda Boulevard to reopen tonight
Agualinda Boulevard, which has been closed between Southwest 32nd Street and Southwest 36th Terrace due to a raw water main break, is expected to reopen tonight, city of Cape Coral officials announced this afternoon. Crews have been working to repair the water main break that occurred overnight. The closure has affected both the northbound and southbound lanes, and the sidewalks in this area also are closed.
Motorists should continue to seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time to avoid delays until the roadway reopens. The detour route is marked with signage.
