Estero Fine Art Show this weekend at the Miromar Design Center
The Estero Fine Art Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday at the Miromar Design Center
The show was voted one of the top 100 art fairs in America.
For those looking to get a jump on next weekend’s Cape Coral Festival of the Arts, here are some highlights of the south county show:
* This distinctive art show is open to the public and all ages are welcome. Part of America’s highest quality and most respected art festivals.
* Includes 145 experienced and well-respected professional artists who will personally be present at the art fair.
* The focus is a juried, high quality fine art and fine craft art show where all art work is original and personally handmade by the artists in the show. The pre-show jurors are art professionals with 120-plus years combined art fair and/or art education experience. The show’s on-site judge is Dana Roes, Visual Arts faculty director of Southwestern State College of Fort Myers.
* All art is for sale sculpture, paintings, clay, glass, jewelry, fiber, wood, photography, mixed media; commission work available, and something unique for everyone, in all price ranges.
* The show location is outdoors at Miromar Design Center, Southwest Florida’s premier destination for design professionals. Plenty of free parking, trees for shade and an ambiance for a quality fine art and fine craft show. Located across street from its original location at Miromar Outlets, Exit 123, Corkscrew Road and I-75, Estero.
* While attending the art fair, be sure to visit the Youth Art Competition tent for grades K-8 or ages 5-13. Sponsored by Institute for the Arts & Education, this program encourages students to create his/her original art that is publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. $250 in Youth Art awards is presented on Sunday at 3 p.m.
* $5 optional donation helps pay the costs of producing the art show and supports Institute for the Arts & Education, our associated 501c3 non-profit organization which focuses on fostering art education among youth, visual arts, diversity and community enrichment.
* Free entertainment by Ken Mazur of Hot Metal Groove, Ron Harkrader and Vladimir Gorodkin.
* Excellent local food available for purchase from Little Joe’s Special Events of Cape Coral.
