Police apprehend one suspect, seek second in burglaries
Cape Coral police are looking for a second man accused in a string of armed robberies.
At about 6:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 23, officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 2000 block of Southwest Third Street. A homeowner had found a man inside his home taking items, according to officials.
The suspect fled the home into the surrounding neighborhood. Police located and detained the man, identified as Sean Alexander Frazer, 20, of 1801 Brantley Pines Road, Apt. 304, Fort Myers.
Officials reported that a handgun was located in Frazer’s front sweatshirt pocket.
An investigation revealed that several homes and vehicles in the area had been burglarized. One vehicle, loaded with Christmas presents, had been stolen. It was found submerged in a canal.
According to officials, further investigation of the neighborhood revealed additional burglaries and thefts, as well as resulted in police obtaining surveillance footage from a home security system.
The security footage showed Frazer with a second suspect, who also appears armed.
Officials reported that the second man in the footage, who appears to be wearing a beanie hat at the time of the crimes, was never seen by any of the victims, witnesses or responding Cape officers.

Frazer was arrested and charged with five counts of burglary dwelling structure or conveyance armed, as well as three counts each of burglary unoccupied conveyance unarmed and larceny petit theft.
He was also charged with larceny grand theft $300 less than $5,000, larceny petit theft $100 less $300, damage property criminal mischief $200 and under, damage property criminal mischief over $200 under $1,000 and carrying concealed firearm.
Additional charged may be pending, according to officials.
As of Tuesday, Frazer remained in custody at the Lee County Jail on $101,000 bond.
CCPD officials reported that the responding officers returned to the neighborhood on Saturday with Christmas gifts in an attempt to brighten the holiday for the victims affected by the incidents.
