Deputies seeking robbers who hit North Fort Myers 7-11
Lee County deputies are looking for three armed suspects who robbed the 7-Eleven at 916 Pondella Road in North Fort Myers early Sunday morning.
At approximately 1:24 a.m. deputies answering the robbery call met with the clerk who stated that three armed and masked individuals entered the store and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the suspects, all described to be in their 20s, fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
There were no injuries.
A perimeter was established. LCSO K- 9 Units and aviation responded however attempts to locate the robbers were unsuccessful.
This investigation is ongoing.
Due to the nature of the crime, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit has assumed the investigation.
