Carioscia to address SWCCNA tonight
The Southwest Cape Coral Neighborhood Association is hosting a meeting featuring District 2 Councilman John Carioscia today, March 12, at 7 p.m., in the Oasis Charter Elementary School cafeteria. Carioscia will discuss the current status of the Chiquita lock including the policy of keeping both gates open during a slack tide. Also on the agenda is a discussion of the city’s long-range plans and goals involving replacement of the lock’s aging parts and/or the eventual removal of the entire lock.
Admission is free. All boaters and concerned citizens are invited to attend.
