Twins’ spring game tickets available Jan. 11

Single-game tickets for the Minnesota Twins Spring Training season in Fort Myers go on sale on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 9 a.m.

For the first time, fans will be able to experience Hammond Stadium’s ongoing upgrades including a new a 360-degree boardwalk and outfield concourse, new berm seating in left field and an expanded seating capacity.

Single-game tickets can be purchased online at www.twinsbaseball.com, by calling 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), at the Hammond Stadium box office in Fort Myers or the Target Field box office in Minneapolis. Box office hours at Hammond Stadium are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with hours extended on Saturday, Jan. 11 until 4 p.m.

Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Sunday, Feb. 16, with their first workout slated for Monday, Feb. 17. The balance of the squad reports on Friday, Feb. 21, with full-squad workouts beginning on Saturday, Feb. 22.

The Twins’ 2014 Grapefruit League schedule features 31 games (16 home, 15 road) starting with a Friday, Feb. 28, road matchup with the World Champion Boston Red Sox at JetBlue Park. The Twins open their spring home slate on Saturday, March 1 with the Red Sox at Hammond Stadium.
