NWNA to celebrate 8th anniversary at March 29 event
The Northwest Cape Coral Neighborhood Association, Inc.will hold its eighth birthday celebration Thursday, March 29, at the Christa McAuliffe Charter Elementary School cafeteria, 2817 SW 3rd Lane.
The meeting is open to the public and local residents are urged to bring a neighbor and get involved in the community organization. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for neighbors to meet other neighbors and the program begins at 7 p.m.
The speaker will be Steve Pohlman, interim city manager and director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Cape Coral. Cape Coral District 6 Councilmember Kevin McGrail will also address neighborhood concerns. Discussions will include an update on NWNA’s prototype median landscape enterprise, “Dress up the Northwest,” along with its newest venture, an “Adopt-the-Road” initiative. Cake and beverages will be provided by the NWNA. No preregistration is required.
The NWNA was formed by area residents to provide an open forum for discussion of issues of general importance to members.
NWNA membership is open to all residents and property owners north of Pine Island Road and west of El Dorado Blvd.
