Sun Splash Family Waterpark will officially open for the 2012 season on Saturday, March 3. The park’s complete operating schedule, admission prices and details on the waterpark’s birthday party packages and season pass program, including “Early Bird” season pass options, are available on the Sun Splash website at www.SunSplashWaterpark.com .

“We are excited to celebrate Sun Splash’s 20th Anniversary this year,” said Sandra Greiner, manager of Sun Splash Family Waterpark. “Sun Splash has been a terrific amenity for the City of Cape Coral since first opening in 1992 and we are busy preparing for another great season of aquatic fun!”

Early bird season passes are being offered at $20 off the regular season pass rates for the fourth year in a row and will be on sale from Feb. 1 April 8.

“We recognize that entertainment budgets are still tight so are trying to make it as affordable as possible for local families to take advantage of the savings and enjoy Sun Splash all season long,” said Greiner.

Sun Splash will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March, and Sunday, March 4, then will be open every day from March 9-18 for Lee County Public Schools’ spring break. After spring break, the park will primarily be open weekends only, with the exception of the Easter break, until schools dismiss for summer vacation in late May. Details about this year’s operating schedule are posted at www.SunSplashWaterpark.com.
