Chiquita Lock to be open later for New Year’s Eve
The Chiquita Lock will be open later on New Year’s Eve to accommodate late-night boaters who may be out on the water viewing local fireworks displays. The lock will be operated by city staff until 1 a.m.
Boaters who need to travel through the lock after 1 a.m. will need to contact the after-hours operator by calling 542-5661.
