Cape man found dead atop communication tower in Bonita Springs
A worker found dead atop a communications tower Monday has been identified as Nick Rouskey, 61, of Cape Coral.
His body has been transported to the medical examiner’s office where an autopsy will be conducted to determine his cause of death, officials said.
The body was found after the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was called shortly before 5 p.m. Dispatchers were told a man who appeared to be stuck approximately 600 feet above ground on a communications tower in the area of Channel 30 Drive and Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs.
Collier County Aviation responded to assist. It was determined the man was dead. Efforts began to retrieve the body.
