Police: Grow house bust yields pot plants, marijuana, valued at $160,000
A Miami man was arrested late Friday after Cape police executing a search warrant uncovered a grow house in the North Cape.
Norges Rodriguez Carballo, 39, was charged with trafficking/cultivation of marijuana after investigators discovered 40 marijuana plants in a residence at 2427 N.E. 22 Avenue, police officials said Monday.
The Cape Coral Police Department VIN Unit, with the assistance of the SWAT, SCU, and K-9, executed the warrant at 9:35 p.m., officials said, adding the seized plants had a street value of $160,000 and weighed an estimated 75.35 pounds
This warrant service concluded a two-month investigation.
