Items valued at over $14,000 stolen from Cape home
More than $14,000 worth of items were reported stolen Wednesday from a Cape Coral home.
A man told police that he is is the process of moving out of his home in the 2700 block of Northwest 41st Avenue and many of his belongings are still there. According to a police report, he left Tuesday and returned Wednesday to find the items gone.
The report states that the missing items include 25 video games, two video gaming systems, various pairs of shoes, a computer and flatscreen monitor, a sound system, loose change and cash, 75 DVDs, a drill and drill set, clothing and two flatscreen televisions.
The items are worth an estimated $14,471.
