Mack files for re-election; raises over $300,000 last quarter
Congressman Connie Mack, FL-14, announced today that he has officially filed for re-election.
Mack also announced that he raised more than $300,000 for his re-election bid in the first quarter of 2010.
“Every day, I am honored to serve the people of Southwest Florida as their voice in Congress and stand for the principles that make our nation strong: less taxing, less spending, less government and more freedom,” Mack said in a prepared statement. “I will continue to fight against the Big Government agenda pushed by the Obama Administration and the Democratic Leadership – such as endless bailouts, out-of-control taxing and spending and the nationalization of health care – that threaten our nation’s freedom, security and prosperity.
“I’m looking forward to a great campaign and talking with Southwest Floridians about how we can continue to ensure that our region remains a great place to live, work and visit.”
