Vendors came from North Fort Myers, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Port Charlotte, Estero, Arcadia and even Connecticut to show their wares at the Shell Factory’s two-day arts and crafts festival.
Running Friday, Jan. 29, and Saturday, Jan. 30, the art show is the first of its kind at the location. Artists and craftsmen from across Southwest Florida and beyond displayed their creations including photography, pottery, paintings, metal works, jewelry, sculpture, handmade soaps, quilts and more.
There were some interesting and unusual works.
“I’ve been doing some shopping as well because I’m intrigued by many of the designs here,” said Donna Ellis, marketing manager for the Shell Factory.
“The artists were pleased to be able to display for no fee and they seemed pleased with the Shell Factory venue. We would love to do this again before the end of the year.”
