County library system offering virtual programs

LEE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM
The Lee County Library System, which includes the Captiva Memorial Library, is offering the following free virtual programming:
ADULT PROGRAMS
– Feb. 18: Online Author Event with Lee Hawkins from 2 to 3 p.m.
Join a conversation with journalist and author Lee Hawkins as he talks about the examination of his family’s legacy of post-enslavement trauma and resilience in his memoir, “I Am Nobody’s Slave: How Uncovering My Family’s History Set Me Free.” The event is part of the Online Author Events Series. Registration is required.
