Sanibel Police Department issues evening traffic advisory through Jan. 1
Over the past several days evening traffic exiting Sanibel Island has been particularly congested between 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Sanibel Police Department strongly advises motorists to plan to leave the island either before 3 p.m. or after 7 p.m. to avoid the heaviest congestion.
While on the roadway this holiday season, the Sanibel Police Department also reminds motorists to pay close attention to all traffic personnel in order to insure the safety of motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
