Periwinkle between Donax Road and Main Street has re-opened to traffic. Workers remain on-site so continued caution is urged.

Caution: Downed electrical line on Periwinkle

At 1:56 p.m. Tuesday the city of Sanibel reported a live electrical wire down on Periwinkle between Donax Road and Main Street. Sanibel Police are on scene and traffic is being detoured, LCEC is en route. The road will be re-opened immediately upon completion of the repair.
