The “Artist’s Choice” exhibit is open through Jan. 10 at the Phillips Gallery at the BIG ARTS complex. It is part of the 39th annual Juried Art Council of Southwest Florida Exhibit, hosted in Sanibel by the Sanibel-Captiva Art League. Media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, pastel, original prints, sculpture, just about everything except photography. An artist reception was held Dec. 12. Event judge is Joseph W. Palmerio, and co-chairs are Nory McNelis and Mary Klunk. Phillips Gallery patron season sponsors are June Rosner and Russ Bilgore. Details and hours are at bigarts.org.
