Suspect sought in robbery of San-Cap Community Bank in Fort Myers
On Tuesday, June 10, at approximately 12:27 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Sanibel Captiva Community Bank located at 15975 McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers in reference to a robbery.
One suspect entered the bank and subsequently fled the area on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white female, wearing a camouflage hat, dark maroon shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit detectives responded to the scene and are currently conducting an investigation.
