Physician lecture series for island residents at Community House

The Lee Memorial Health System Foundation invites residents of Sanibel and Captiva to reserve their spots to take part in the “Crossing The Bridge to Better Health Care” physician lecture series this March and April. The series brings noted practicing physicians to the islands to present the latest information on procedures and services being provided at Lee Memorial Health System.

The three-part series includes the following topics, dates and presenters:

1. Monday, March 31 at 6 p.m. is “Joint Pain: Understanding the Causes and Treatment Options” presented by John Kagan, MD

2. Monday, April 7 at 6 p.m. is “DaVinci Robotic Program: Advantages of Minimally Invasive Surgery” presented by Paul DiGiorgi, MD, F.A.C.S.

All sessions begin at 6 p.m. at the Sanibel Community House located at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Light refreshments will be served

There is no charge to attend the lecture series but, due to limited seating, advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 343-6950 or emailing springk.rosen@leememorial.org.
