LCSO serves warrant for cocaine dealer on Sanibel Island

Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant against Fort Myers resident Richard Cyele Wiemer, 28, on Sanibel Island last week.
Wiemer was arrested on March 7 at 3:28 p.m. at 785 Rabbit Road for selling and possessing cocaine.
According to the warrant released by LCSO, Wiemer allegedly sold 1.8 grams of cocaine to a confidential informant on March 19, 2013 in Fort Myers. With assistance from LCSO, the informant paid $100 to a street level cocaine dealer known as “Kyle” in return for crack cocaine at the Marbella Apartments on 7961 Bradenburg Lane.
Following the transaction, the detective conducted a field test of the substance and found it was positive for cocaine, and after a records search found that the apartment belonged to Wiemer.
Wiemer was later identified in a police line up by the informant, but according to the LCSO, efforts to take Wiemer into custody were exhausted requiring the issuance of a countywide warrant.
He was released on the same day of his arrest with a bond of $7,500 and is scheduled for trial on April 7.
Wiemer could not be reached for comment on March 10.
