Lee Commissioner Brian Hamman to speak to Sanibel-Captiva Republicans
The next meeting of the Sanibel-Captiva Republican Caucus will be at the Sanibel Public Library, Room Four, on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. The scheduled speaker is Lee County Commissioner Brian Hamman. This will be an open meeting and the public is invited.
Hamman was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to fill a sudden vacancy in Lee County Commission District 4 on Oct. 29, 2013.
Hamman grew up in Cape Coral and graduated from Edison State College and Florida Gulf Coast University. He has worked in television, financing, and market development. He is currently the commission’s vice chairman and will be up for election in November.
Over the next few months we will host a series of meetings to introduce candidates running for various positions in the upcoming primary elections.
