Middle School student assignment open house dates
In preparation for the School District of Lee County’s Student Assignment period, the District’s middle schools will host open houses to provide parents and students an opportunity to explore their campuses before they choose a school for 6th grade. The application period for the Student Assignment process will open on Jan. 21, 2014 and run through March 28, 2014. Parents and students are encouraged to visit schools in their subzones before ranking their school choices on their applications.
Each year, students entering kindergarten, sixth grade and ninth grade participate in the Student Assignment process by ranking their school choices. More details about the Student Assignment process will be released in January.
