Preparations are underway for the Christmas season.

‘Tween Waters Inn and the South Seas Island Resort are decorating before Thanksgiving, which is the kick-off for the Captiva Holiday Village. The community has planned holiday strolls, lighted boat parades, hayrides and holiday readings for children.

‘Tween Waters Inn’s fireworks and tree lighting are on Friday, Nov. 29 from 5-7 p.m. On the next day, Saturday, Nov. 30, South Seas will light its tree and host a Children’s Classic Holiday Reading from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
