Electrical service crews with contractor MasTec install new lines along Periwinkle Way near the Palm Ridge Road intersection this week. The contractor is doing upgrades and repairs to electric service lines for Lee County Electrict Coop on the islands. The work is in the final stages along Tarpon Bay Road, Palm Ridge and Periwinkle before suspending the project for season until spring 2014.
