Sanibel Air takes 1st place

Sanibel Air Conditioning, Inc. is not new to doing things for a good cause, and especially if it involves fishing. Co-owner Bryan Hayes and his son Daniel took first place the first redfish fishing tournament held by the Panther Baseball Alumni Club which helped raise funds for Cypress Lake High Schools baseball team.
Their winning catch weight over 6 1/2 pounds and was 26 1/2 inches long, beating out the second-place winner by just two ounces. It is the first time that a father and son participated in a tournament together, and after discussing their winnings with their family, they decided to donate their $1,500 prize to the baseball program. The tournament raised $8,000 for the program.
“Daniel and I had a great time fishing the tournament, and winning it together will be something we will both remember for the rest of our lives,” said Bryan Hayes, co-owner of Sanibel Air Conditioning. “It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to do something fun for a great cause, and when our kids to be part of that with us, you just can’t beat the value of what they get to take away from it all.”
Sanibel Air was started in 1988 and has maintained their promise to provide the best local service around for over 22 years. Sanibel Air is highly active in their community, and participate or contribute to several charitable causes throughout the year; some of their primary contributions are coaching a youth soccer team, monetary donations to the Sanibel-Captiva Lions and sponsoring the The Flat’s Invitational Fishing Tournament that benefits the Ronald McDonald House charities of SWFL.
