Next month’s 4th annual 10K Race 4 FISH picked up another silver sponsor in Sanibel trash hauler Veolia Environmental Services. It is the first year for the business to be a race sponsor.

“We are always very pleased to see a new sponsor joining to show their support for FISH,” said president Bill Fellows. “We appreciate that Veolia Environmental Services has chosen to sponsor our race and we look forward to having them on board.”

The race on Oct. 13 begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Sanibel Community House. Runners will follow a marked course around the island, returning to the Community House for the finish line.

The 10K Race 4 FISH is being held in conjunction with the Fort Myers Track Club and is expected to attract more than 400 runners. The race is the main fundraising event for FISH. Runners can download an online entry form at fishofsanibel.com/fish-10k.
