Miracle special needs baseball camp on April 28
The Fort Myers Miracle announce their seventh annual Special Needs Baseball Camp on Saturday, April 28, at Hammond Stadium from 10 a.m. -12 p.m.
The baseball camp is free and open to the first 25 individuals, with a physical or mental challenge, age 18 and under.
The entire Miracle team and coaches will teach kids the baseball skills of hitting, throwing, catching and fielding. The camp is hosted by Cape Coral resident Dave Clark. Suffering from the effects of Post Polio Syndrome (PPS), Clark, 59, amassed more than 600 wins during his 30-year baseball career that began in the early 1970s. Currently, he focuses his energies on public speaking, organizing disability events, and is an envoy international coach for Major League Baseball.
