Commissioner Mann to present ‘State of the County’ address at luncheon
Frank Mann, Chairman of the Lee County Board of Commissioners, will present the “State of the County” during the Tuesday, Oct. 18 luncheon meeting of the Fort Myers Republican Women’s Club. He will discuss budget constraints and how the various cuts in programs will affect Lee County citizens.
In addition, Mann will explain how the commissioners come to a consensus on budget and other matters while following mandated guidelines. Of particular interest is the possible conversion of the City of Palms Park into an aquatic center.
The public is invited to attend the luncheon and the program being held at The Helm Club, The Landings in South Fort Myers. A social hour begins at 11:15 a.m. The noon lunch, business meeting and program follow. The luncheon cost is $16 per person.
