‘Celebrity Island Dinner’ returning in October

The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum and Traders Restaurant will sponsor a “Celebrity Island Dinner” on Monday, Oct. 3 at Traders, located at 1551 Periwinkle Way on Sanibel. Seating will be offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person, and all proceeds will benefit The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum.

The impressive list of celebrity servers includes Craig Albert, Ric Base, Karen Bell, Mark Blust, Terry Igo, Friedrich Jaeger, Anne Joffe, Richard Johnson, Leoma Lovegrove, Tim Murty, Sandy Stilwell, Mike Valiquette and Bob Walsh.

A dazzling piece of jewelry donated by Lily & Co. will be raffled, and a sensational selection of Chinese auction items will be available for bidding.

Joe Archambault has designed a delicious menu, including a choice of a specially selected soup or salad, one of four entrees and dessert. Bruce Akioka is providing tropical entertainment for the event.
