City announces Labor Day holiday schedule, refuse collection details
Sanibel City Hall will be closed in observance of Labor Day, on Monday, Sept. 6 and will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection by Waste Pro scheduled for Labor Day will be one day later. Therefore, if your normal pick-up day is Monday, Sept. 6, your waste will be picked up on Tuesday, Sept. 7. The altered schedule will remain in place for the remainder of the week. The normal waste collection schedule will resume on Monday, Sept. 13.
The Sanibel Recreation Center will be open Labor Day, on Monday, Sept. 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. All regular classes will be held. If you have any questions, please call the Rec Center at 472-0345.
The Sanibel Recreation Center After School Program will not operate in observance of Labor Day, on Monday, Sept. 6 and will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 7. The Fun Days Program will not operate on Labor Day. If you have any questions, please call the Rec Center at 472-0345.
The City of Sanibel’s Center 4 Life/Civic Center will be closed in observance of Labor Day and will resume normal office hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7. If you have any questions, please call the Center 4 Life/Civic Center at 472-5473.
