‘Best of the Islands’ ballot deadline is Aug. 30
Now through the end of the month, readers of the Island Reporter and Sanibel-Captiva Islander are invited to cast their votes in Breeze Newspapers’ annual “Best of the Islands” contest.
Ballots, which can be found in both publications every week during August, include 86 individual nomination slots in eight separate categories:
• Dining & Nightlife
• Best Restaurants
• Out & About
• Shopping
• Beauty & Wellness
• Service
• Real Estate
• People
In order to be valid, each ballot must have at least 50 spaces filled out. There is a limit of one ballot per person and only original ballots — no photocopies or faxes — will be accepted. Voters must include their name, address and phone number (for confirmation purposes only).
The deadline to submit all completed “Best of the Islands” ballots is by 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30. They may be delivered in person or mailed to the Island Reporter, 2340 Periwinkle Way, Unit K, Sanibel, FL 33957.
Winners will be announced in September.
