ABWA to meet July 13 at Sanibel Community House

The Sanibel-Captiva Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) invites all members and guests to the monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 13. The meeting will be held at the Sanibel Community House, located at 2173 Periwinkle Way. Networking begins at 5:30 p.m., and the dinner/meeting begins at 6 p.m.

Leon D. Goldsmith, CPA, PA is the July meeting presenter. He offers almost two decades of private and public accounting experience. His firm is focused on helping individuals and businesses with their tax and accounting needs. This presentation will discuss ways to help your business maximize its profit potential.

Leon built his firm on the belief to provide customized accounting and tax solutions and services to individuals, non-profit organizations and corporations in the Fort Myers area since 2001. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs; is an active member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of their Emerging Leaders program. He also volunteers with Boy Scouts, his church and as a public speaker.

The ABWA, which meets on the second Tuesday of each month, focuses on bringing together women of professional and business interests to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition. The purpose of the networking time prior to the start of the meeting is to build networking skills and provide business enhancing opportunities for Sanibel and Captiva business women.
